Enjoy a million dollar view of the beautiful Apalachee Bay and Gulf of Mexico from our comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 3 story home, with private pool and boat dock. We are located on a deep-water canal that leads from the boat launch at the Shell Point Marina to the bay. The Shell Point area is part of Florida’s forgotten coast. It is a small, quiet community located on the Apalachee Bay that has escaped the fast-lane development that has taken over other areas.

This is truly every fisherman’s dream. The living quarters feature 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, family room (with fully stocked entertainment center), fully equipped kitchen, sunroom and laundry room. Our sunroom covers the entire back side of the house, where you can kick back and watch the boats come in at sunset or just enjoy the gulf breeze from one of our easy chairs. Our large family room (which includes the den, dining room, and kitchen) has a wall of windows and glass doors, which look out onto the sunroom and share the same view.

Two bedrooms and one bath are located on the main level, which is the 2nd story (1st story is owner storage-not for renter’s use). The master bedroom and bath are located on the 3rd story. A small balcony extends from the master bedroom and offers a bird's-eye view of the entire marina area. Shell Point is also a popular destination for windsurfing and sailing; hosting several annual Regattas. Other interests in the immediate area include a beautiful public golf course (Wildwood Country Club), which is 10 minutes away, and one of the finest seafood restaurants anywhere (Angelo’s), which is only 20 minutes away.

The Apalachee Bay offers some of the best flats fishing anywhere. You can catch speckled sea trout, redfish, Spanish mackerel, flounder, sheepshead, cobia, and tarpon. If you venture offshore, you can catch grouper, kingfish ... and anything else that might be swimming around in the gulf.

You can enjoy the unspoiled and natural beauty of Shell Point, nearby Wakulla Springs State Park, or the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge; yet, you are only 30 minutes from Tallahassee (Florida's capital), which has all of the conveniences of a big city - malls, restaurants, museums, parks, airport - and is the home of Florida State University (FSU) and Florida A&M University (FAMU). If you want to escape to a relaxing, laid back paradise; yet, be able to venture into the city on a whim, this is the perfect location for you.

An $85.00 cleanup fee and a $200.00 refundable security/damage deposit are required with each stay. Additional cleaning fees may be required for stays of more than one week. Rates are subject to 9% sales tax. All rates payable in US dollars. Small pets are allowed with prior approval. Pet fees apply ... $10 per day for 1 pet, $15 per day for 2 pets or $50 per week for 1 pet, $75 per week for 2 pets, along with $50 to be added to the refundable $200 security/damage deposit. ***Deposit is required to secure the rental. Rental fee and cleaning fee are due 2 weeks prior to arrival. We accept personal checks, money orders, Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express.
