Our Cottage is surrounded by four beautiful acres. The name Butterfly Cottage was chosen because of the many different Butterflies we have due to the variety of host and feeding plants we plant for them. The property also has a variety of blooming Tropicals, and trees, many different native singing birds. Huge grand old live oaks. The property is very quite private & serene, but just minutes from excitement, fun and adventure. Easy access to Interstate and just 10 minutes to the Pensacola, Perdido Key and Navarre beaches & diving, water sports, sailing, fishing. Nearby Golfing, Five Flags, Gulf Breeze Zoo, Gulfarium, Naval Air Station & Museum, Pensacola Christian College, Equestrian Center, Antique Malls, and Casinos. We are located across the street from the Escambia County Equestrian Center where they have events almost weekly such as, rodeos, dog shows, horse shows, monster truck shows and other live entertainment. Enjoy the koi pond, help yourself to the wild blueberries, blackberries and pears. Enjoy the aroma of the tropical gardens and the beauty of the butterflies and hummingbird garden, with exotic pitcher plants, azaleas, crepe myrtles, jasmine, ginger, cannas, ferns, gardenias, camellias, and amaryllis.
